Hi mates,

I have a few query regarding AMP.

1. Does google consider AMP implemented Sites are a high priority for ranking? If yes, only on mobile ranking or both in desktop & mobile.

2. Nowadays AMP symbol is not visible on SERP result? Is any updates regarding that.

Yes, google prefers AMP implemented sites on mobile devices. You surely will get priority over sites that do not have AMP implemented when ranking on mobile devices.
Secondly AMP symbol is still visible, however its only visible on default app not on desktop version of browsers install on your mobile devices.

Google has said that it gives mobile friendly sites a "preference" in the rankings.

Not AMP but google gives priority to sites that are mobile responsive. If your theme is mobile responsive, then AMP is not needed.
