The primary focus of any online business should be on conversions rather than just ranking high on search engines. While ranking is important for visibility, it does not necessarily guarantee conversions or sales.

To achieve conversions, businesses should aim to create a user-friendly website that offers a seamless experience for potential customers. This includes having clear and concise calls-to-action, easy navigation, and a website that is optimized for mobile devices.

Additionally, businesses should focus on providing high-quality content that is valuable to their target audience. This can include informative blog posts, helpful videos, and engaging social media posts. By creating valuable content, businesses can establish themselves as thought leaders in their industry, which can lead to increased trust and credibility with potential customers.

It's also important for businesses to track their conversion rates and make changes to their website and marketing strategies as needed. This can include A/B testing different website layouts, adjusting marketing campaigns, and analyzing customer feedback.

That's an absolutely narrow-minded approach.
Focusing on conversions alone isn't ideal for any business because it ignores brand awareness.
I have mentioned time and again that in ecommerce branding is the most important aspect.
High serp rankings may not directly lead to conversions, but it does increase brands visibility which helps to reach a wider audience.

Offering a user-friendly website/app UI is a good thing but offering exceptional products, services, & support is something very important you have missed to mention here.
If you can exceed your customers expectations, they can be your strongest marketing channel i.e word of mouth/reviews/fans.

Tracking conversion rates is also a good thing but relying solely on these metrics for updating the approach won't help with growth in long run.
Maintaining a balance between conversion, Branding, SEO is a better approach while also considering PPC ads.

PPC ads need a special mention here because the ecommerce niche is a highly competitive market and ads give a better advantage to reach a wider audience.

How can you say this is a Narrow-Mind Approach? Just because it is working for me, Man! why do we do business? For money which we bring by sale then why we shouldn't focus on it? Brand awareness is also part of the campaign, obviously when you focus on conversion then you should start with branding and optimization of campaigns. Indeed high traffic will not bring sales but targeted does and my post is around this aspect.
Indeed service after sale and products should have top-notch quality.
Conversion tracking is the bottom line of any business, especially Ecommerce, We should track ROI from all traffic channels.
PPC is good, I agree but why SEO is not? Ecom brands mainly focused on PPC which is a timely sales generation channel but SEO is a long-term modality.

First of all, either you didn't read what I wrote above, or you didn't understand what I said.
I just pointed out those things that were missing in OP.
It's working for you that's a great thing.
I and most people I have interacted with over the years don't entirely do business for just money there are other things too that make a business success story for long term.
Just ignore what I said if you don't understand what I posted.
It's an open forum and I just posted my views what I have learnt from my personal experience.
