Just a cursory glance at the SERPs for any high traffic igaming keywords will show you that is bullshit. 'Quiet' is certainly a popular word for LLMs and chatbots isn't it?

Frequency/timing/pattern is emerging as as a more critical trigger than previously. Even going softly can get you in trouble if you ramp up the frequency too much. A long period of dormancy (in promo activities) followed by a flurry of posts seems to be another flag. Constant attention to what's actually happening and making the necessary adjustments is the answer, as ever.

Google is not counting links anymore, it is reading the story your link profile tells. If that story looks like a campaign it gets treated like one. The best link profiles look like they happened naturally over time because nobody was paying attention to them. That is the whole game now.

link building is still old-styled for ranking in traditional google serp/bing serp.
