Between Moz and ahref which one is more accurate when it comes to checking backlinks and domain authority

First, Moz as a tool is Useless.. so, just ignore it.

As for Ahrefs DR, its useless too. So, ignore it as well!

The only metric you should check, is your competitors RDs and BLs and how good are they

Both are fine and both can be manipulated with redirect backlinks, semrush has fixed its rating (they can it authority).

I agree with you but in terms of buying an expired domain I'll have to checked these metrics before picking a Domain,

When buying an expired domain where do you check your metrics before purchasing?

Emm, semrush or ahrefs bulk checker if they are a lot. Don't really know how your answer affects my answer in anyway.

For any metric tool, beside the dr and pr there is RD and BL .. look at those!

And for simplicity, yeah, Ahrefs DR and PR are one of the best when compared to each other. So, 1 domain with 23 DR in ahrefs is definitely stronger than a 9 DR one in ahrefs as well.

Domcorp has the feature to check these metrics. Which tool are you using to find expired domains?

in my opinion, both are fine but Ahrefs provide an accurate rate, overall ahrefs is best.

I’d trust ahrefs more than anything else. SEMRush is good also, but I believe ahrefs to have the closest to accurate date as possible.

You should ignore Moz metrics.

Link buyers seem to care about Ahrefs score and predicted traffic numbers, so go with that over Moz.
