Affiliate business without collecting DATA

Hello and thank you for your help!
I want to start an affiliate business in my country(Europe). But here we have some problems with GDPR(data protection). Everything is unclear!
We have also GDPR consultants that were fined(large sum...). How can we make an Affiliate business without collecting peoples data(email etc..)?

Do everything except the data part?

I mean, collecting data is optional in affiliate marketing. I have plenty of affiliate sites without user data collecting. They're mostly niche content sites focused on money keywords, monetized via affiliate.

But what's the point with GDPR? I use email providers who are GDPR compliant and if you just follow the basic protocol (give people an option to request the data) and be clear about which data is used for what you don't get troubles.

In which country are you? And your consultants? Because so far I know this law is applied but the EU doesn't have enough manpower to control this so far. And if they have they're gonna take the big fishes first.

Can you give me an example of your site? I am a beginner, and I want to see how it looks like like a website like this! Thank you

I am using Aweber, Mailchimp and Mailerlite. They're all GDPR compliant. If you use WordPress you can use an plugin which can connect to these providers, most plugins nowadays have an extra GDPR compliant check, for example ConvertPlus.
