I have just built a video sharing platform with a lot of features. Users can stream movies, share content, upload videos and eventually monetize them once there is a decent amount of traffic on site. How would I get organic traffic to something like this? Any tips and advice will be appreciated

Facebook can be a good free traffic source for this kind of site. There are also twitter, reddit if you're doing adult

Include relevant titles, Use the right keywords. Before you can get people clicking on your website, they need to open the newsletter first! Video newsletters. Also, if your thumbnail links to a video, make sure there's a play button on the image. At the very least, include GIFs

Add the reverent keyword in your video title, Try to add long description on your video sharing websites. And you can share your videos in YouTube, Facebook ,Veoh , Bilp, etc. for more organic traffic to your video link

Marketing on social media with your key feature will be a way to go.
