Alright, this is in response to another thread I saw ( http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...d-clickable-link-his-site-youtubevideo-2.html )
THIS IS ONLY A THEORY, THAT I HAVE NOT TRIED! TRY IT IF YOU WANT. I ONLY FIGURED I WOULD SHARE MY IDEA. IT MIGHT WORK OR NOT BUT BRAINSTORMING IS HOW YOU COME UP WITH GOOD IDEAS. NOT BY CRYING AND CALLING OUT PEOPLE!
-Youtube accepts .FLV as a video format. Although not stated (nor have I tried but I have read that it is on multiple forums )
so here goes my theory.
Step#1.
Edit your video. I don't care what it is, do what you gotta do. Then save it.
Step #2.
Convert to FLV
Step #3.
In your flv editor of choice add you link, however you want it.
Step #4 .
Save and upload to youtube.
Please take note, that in step #3, if you want a fancy video layer over a video layer, you might want to set that up before editing the flv. set you video overlay in premiere , final cut, avid, i dont care what.... and then do the linking in your flv editor.
ONLY THING I MIGHT SEE GO WRONG:
I read that YT possibly re-compresses your video after upload, so that it works on their website. This might be true, again it might not. perhaps this method would still work.
Someone try this out, and let me know. If the method fails. Let's keep on bringing ideas here. I'm sick right now so I really do not feel like putting this kind of effort into anything, but I did take the time to share the concept idea before I forgot it.
So remember - Be no stranger, show some love!
