Add Categories to Pages - Wordpress

Hello All,

I wanted to add Categories and Tags to my Pages on WordPress that is for two reasons:
1. I heard that pages are better than posts for Amazon affiliate sites so I'm planning to add all my reviews and articles as Pages.
2. I wanted to add the latest pages on my home page Using Post-Category-List Plugin, but it seems it does not work except on Posts.

I have tried Plugins like 'Add Category to Pages' and 'Post Tags and Categories for Pages'. Both add categories and tags to pages,,
BUT they don't make the pages appear using Post-Category-List Plugin.

Anyone knows how to fix this using plugin or through html ?

That's questionable advice. I've improved site rankings many times by removing links to tags due to shallow content on most tag pages. In fact one of the first edits I do on WP themes is remove tags and unnecessary links.

That might be true, I usually don't depend on tags to rank, and I don't add many tags overall.
Yet, I'm concerned with categorizing my pages into categories so that I can show them on my Home page under a heading like "Latest Product reviews".

Hope my idea is clear.

might be that you need an edit of that Post-Category-List plugin so maybe just try and contact the developer.

I have just looked through the code and figured out how to fix this.
