A Tip for .info Autoblogs - Link to Authority Websites

I am testing out autoblog systems right now as I intend to create between 3-6k Autoblogs in the next 6 months. I have found out a few Facts that I will not share here, obviously. One thing that is really helping with Penguin or Panda. Find the top 10 Authority sites in the Niche and put the Links on your Front Page in a prominent position. It takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks, but somehow traffic starts coming in and pages start to be indexed for these blogs. I have tested 7 more without the Links and NONE of them have worked. Its an old piece of info, but its not to be overlooked. Place .gov, .edu and wiki pages. See how it goes...

Actually, this might be old info but its a very useful post as well. Do you suggest linking out to blogs/wiki/gove/edu only? I dont want to link to competitors but if its going to bring me their traffic...
