A question about faking traffic

I recently came across a bot that will view your websites for you through a proxy. All you have to do is give it a list of proxy addresses and your sites URL.

I have a quick question, if I am linking directly to my site from the proxy then I am going to have no referrer aren't I? Is there any way to fake the referrer or at least make my views look more legit.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm new here and "cloaking" seemed to be the most relevant topic to my question.

some bots have option for fake referer, since referer set by browser, so some bot that emulate browser, usually using IE engine has this options
