A question about CPA landing pages

Hello,

I have been reading to figure it out about CPA using Instagram. I think I have learned a bit about it but I have a question that is a landing page necessary to use? I have my own domain and a hosting, so I figure it out like;

I create a content locker on a network e.g. OGads --> then I put that onto my site --> I hide the link using a cloaker e.g. Advertsafe - otherwise Instagram will flag my site as spam --> then I put that link onto my Instagram page and wait for people to visit it. So I don't understand what is the meaning of the landing page. Can you explain me about that a bit please?

Anything that warms up the visitors before actually throwing surveys on their face is a Landing Page.
So yes it is pretty important to get most out of your visitors. Everyone uses them so why not you?

A clean pre-lander or just use cloaker

A Landing page will encourage people to complete the cpa offers. It’ll surely boost your CR. You can split test this and i’m sure you’ll find out using a LP better than without a LP.
