I have been drowning myself in the IM/seo industry in the last couple of years and 6 months ago started a new uk eCommerce store. It's going ok, but i always fail on 1 major point, and its the basis of a successful campaign. Keyword research.

I have read so many articles but seems to always struggle to find high traffic, high intent, relevant keywords that have low competition. Before i move forward any more and waste my time would any body be able to give me some suggestions of good keywords to go for if i gave them our url, usp, products and our other keywords to go on.

We are a new shop so are not generating enough income to pay anyone yet, and yet a little help and then possible guidance on how to find these for future reference would be perfect. I hate to ask for anything free, but i do know how helpful and supportive this forum is - so after 6 months have given in and asked.

Thanks in advance of any input

(if this is in the wrong thread mods, please do either move or let me know and i will, thanks)

There are several good tutorials on here about KW research, including https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/keyword-research-looking-beyond-search-volume.1099983/ and https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-how-to-do-keyword-research-with-only-free-tools.1109035/

how are you doing your keyword research currently?

2 ways so far. Firstly, i was using Ubbersuggest and would put in the main keyword to find variations with good traffic and low comp. Then, this second way come after a while of posting blogs and product pages. When a blog or product page has been indexed, i would keep track of keywords using Ahrefs anyway, so any good looking keywords that we start to rank for without initially aiming to, that can be long tail variations etc, i would start to push those as they where already ranking and either optimise the original pages, or start new pages and link to them also from the original post etc.
