A good TLD is very important..?

Hey,

So I have searched for some expiring domains which are on auction, (Thanks to the fellow members for giving this idea) and I have a similar idea but not same, so I want to use the same domain with a different TLD.

Is it a bad idea or whether I will be banned or something like that from posting ads on that site..?

Normally TLD in itself is no reason for concern.
But then there are some nuances. .info is more spammed than .com. so less safe. Posting in Italian on a .de site could trigger a flag.
So mostly TLD should not be an issue, unless a particular problem arises.

The site am referring is .com and I am targeting for either .in or .xyz
I dont know how it affects

.in is for India, are you looking to get Indian traffic (as this wont rank easily in the USA)
.xyz was spammed af, so not really recommended.

You won’t be able to monetise .in go for .com unless you want Indian traffic

Google doesn't have a problem with alternative gTLD's it wont affect the websites search rankings,perhaps it influences the perception of your brand but i would suggest u to go with country code TLD's rather than .xyz

TLD's doesn't impact much, if you target a country .in is good if not prefer .com. As of .xyz, I wouldn't prefer it, there are chances to be spammed one and risky.
