It's just my 3rd day doing dropshipping. 2 days allotted for designing the site itself (which I must say, easy and user-friendly). I've also done product listing, adding 10 products as a start and planning to add additional 10 products everyday.

We were able to garner 2k+ followers in IG, and 1k+ followers on Facebook). I've watched tutorials on Youtube, enrolled myself in Digital Marketing courses, but it's always best to get advise also from people who've had success stories from this industry.

Working 3 years in the office, it's great to try something new, and hopefully could help me earn more than what I earn on my day job.

Costs so far:
1. Shopify basic plan
2. Domain

My chosen niche is women's shoes. I'll be updating this thread daily, and I'm hoping I could also get help from here.

Good luck pal , looking forward to see how this goes

Good luck man ! I've always wanted to get into dropshipping but never had the guts :)

good luck and which payment method you're using?

I'm glad you started a Dropshipping business. Are you planning to utilize paid campaigns on FB/Insta? How much weekly budget you deciding to use?

So here I am on my 4th day. I've ran a £8 ad campaign on IG, good for 7 days, locations are US and UK. So far I've gained 150+ likes for that post, and gained 1.5k organic followers. Patience is a virtue :D so I know it may take time to be able to sell some women's designer shoes (my chosen niche), someday.

To answer your questions:
*which payment method you're using? - if you mean what payment method I'm offering to the customers: Apple Pay, G Pay, and debit/credit cards. While the payment method I've attached to my Shopify store is my PayPal account.

*I'm glad you started a Dropshipping business. Are you planning to utilize paid campaigns on FB/Insta? How much weekly budget you deciding to use? - thank you! I've started 2 paid campaigns on IG. My weekly budget is £8.

So today, I'm creating an account on Twitter and Pinterest, then trying to create a business account on TikTok, hopefully could gain some engagements also there. I'll always update this thread on how this would go.

What currency is your store in? I mainly sell to the US, but am based in the UK like yourself. If your store is in any currency other than £s, id recommend getting a multi currency account to avoid monetary loss on conversion fees.

Pm me if you want some options.

Thread moved.

Seems like an interesting journey to follow, and don't share your site with anybody unless you want to fuck up your niche
Good luck

I'm very surprised you got over 1.5k followers over that 8 pound ad.
good luck on the journey

Good luck on your journey! I'm running my first store, not that successful yet, but I've just used my own 19k IG theme page to promote it.

Good luck man! Pm me if you need any advice. Haven’t done IG theme page marketing in a while, but I can drop you some golden nuggets when it comes to store design

So I took a day off for 2 days, and it's my 5th day doing Shopify + IG, still no sales, but as they say, patience is a virtue :D

Just did a couple of product listing, and I've also followed this post: great :) https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/get-5-high-da-98-92-backlinks-easily.1239911/
That link provides tip on how to get 5 High DA Links easily. I really don't know how Moz works. What's Moz, btw?

Anyway, doing product listing + IG and FB marketing everyday is very tiring, so I've decided to focus on product listing for the whole day, then the rest of the week would be marketing.

I really appreciate everyone who are posting some tips here. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Cheers! :)

6th and 7th day: did some product listings, already have 30 products on our store, yet still no sales, and again: Patience is a virtue O:)

For 2 days,
1. Created blogs for SEO
2. Run an £8 ad again to gain likes and follows on IG
3. Tried to join some groups on Facebook that sells my chosen niche (grind)
4. Did direct marketing, offering discount codes for people who followed our page.
5. Imported reviews from the supplier to make it more legit

Based on our website's analytics, we still have a long way to go, no sales, minimal traffic, but still I see hope :)

Talked to one of my friends who do drop shipping, he told me that he's first sell was 2 weeks after opening the site, soooo, *fingers crossed*
