$300 USD - Scammed by "mousepotato" **Beware

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their support via this thread and PMs. It sucks; $300 down the drain, live and learn I guess - but this is an extremely supportive community and I appreciate everything so far.

It might not be down the drain as you still have the option of speaking to your bank and disputing the charge. If your transfer was funded by a credit card, then you should have the option of a chargeback.

HE scammed me too. Complete crock. He kept saying he had issues with paypal.
He was using this email when I was attempting to work with him - [email protected]
 
LOLL are you kidding me im chatting with this guy on skype was about to send him $400 for some work because hes a junior VIP i assumed its safe

EDIT : talked to him on skype he claims he "didn't know" and didn't login the past 2 days, im with him on skype admins let me know if u want his skype so u can solve it

He can just refund because the doesn't own the accounts specified in the original posts. Highly doubt it

no probs mate, if you can't reverse through paypal, try calling your credit card company, thats why I love using AMEX + Paypal when I pay for shady transactions because if something goes wrong, paypal will refund it and if not, amex definitely will.

Not specific to Amex literally every credit card company that I used did that PayPal says they cannot refund you just tell your credit card company and they get you back the money I owe nothing happens to still have very old PayPal account that I had to do that a few times
