Uploading to Udemy isn't a bad idea. It's currently hosted on Gumroad.
My thought process for how best to go about selling it -
1. Hire someone to create a small niche site for me on productivity and workflow
2. Hire someone to write 10+ list type articles centered around productivity, using relevant keywords
3. Link an email opt in AND a page to buy my course in every article
4. Use the remainder of the budget to drive traffic to the articles using FB/IG ads
But I'm still interested in other methedologies
Then, both SEO & PPC can work for you
The pro's - you already making profit both SEO & PPC will increase it
Con's - SEO make take a while to bring any result and it's not clear what result would be, the PPC - the budget might be a little small to get perfect campaign/optimization
So to expand on my above formula, I think what I would do is more like this:
1. Hire someone to create a small niche site for me on productivity and workflow
2. Hire someone to write 10+ list type articles centered around productivity, using relevant keywords
3. Link an email opt in WITH A FREE OFFER
4. Add a link to buy my course at the end of every article
4. Use the remainder of the budget to drive traffic to the articles using FB/IG ads
This allows me a bit of a safety net because -
A. At the very least, I can get the email's of everyone that visits the articles if they choose not to buy
B. When they receive the free product, I can upset the course AGAIN at the back of it, effectively retargeting them on the exact same visit to the article
SO the funnel looks like this:
Ad to read article > Article > Buys course
OR
Ad to read article > article > email opt in for free offer > Buys course
OR
Ad to read article > article > email opt in for free offer > doesn't buy course > retarget using email address to push the course one more time
I figure this would allow me the most (and best) results with the budget I'm working with.
What do you think?
