250 dollars a day - Hard word, dedication, and determination

Hi,

your progress is encouraging. looks awesome :) I am looking into the amazon stuff but haven't had the time due to work. So, especially in that aspect, well done mate! for juggling both, it can be challenging but nothing good comes easy eh?

Anyways back to my question.

Do you actually use these products that you write reviews for?

I'm wondering since it must take ages using these products thoroughly enough in order to write an accurate review.

I pick them by going into a niche, (lets say fitness.) then pick sub niche (exercise bikes) then filter them so it's 4 stars and above and go through the ones with less reviews (checking competition in traffic travis + manually checking top ten.)

Usually I review products with maximum of 10 reviews some of these you will find are full of absolute rubbish on the first page of google that is easy to beat often without using backlinks.
Products with 200 reviews etc. are going to be the ones that take time to rank for in most cases, so I avoid them.

This is a numbers game and it has worked for me in the past. Writing lot's of content is not everyone's cup of tea and I understand that, I just doing something that I have used in the past on a smaller scale.

I'm not using google keyword search tool tbh. My overall aim is to write, write, write about as many low competition products as I can.

Typically these items have low search volume but because I can write quite easily I find a couple of visits a day on each review really adds up.

I do wish there were more hours In a day that's for sure!

I don't own any of the products I write about. What I do is write a summary of the product at start, fill it out a bit then place an affiliate link, then write a bit about the features of the product (I rewrite amazon product descriptions, however I try to be creative when doing so to make it feel like a personal review rather than trying to sell them something.)

Write one bad thing about the product but write about how it can be overcome in some way or another as we don't want to put the potential buyers off. Then I place another affiliate link at bottom of the review along with a short summary.
 
Day 9:

Site 1: 1 review
Site 2: I'm going to bed. ;)

Earnings: I have no idea. Amazon reports are running almost two days late.

Absolutely, although for now I am going to concentrate solely on Amazon. The sites that don't convert later on I may add adsense instead and see how it does.

I want to diversify a bit more later and adsense is one of those things I want to branch out into along with click bank and ppc.

I start another new site tomorrow in a different niche. I have about twenty products lined up to review on this site.

Earning: Who knows, Amazon reports are getting frustrating these past weeks. Always delayed. Not had a report since the 12th

Day 11:

Amazon stats were updated today for the 13th, 14th and 15th. Was surprised to see more sales so soon.

Also added a new site today in a different niche.

Site 2: 1 review wrote
Site 3: 2 reviews wrote

A lot of my spare time went into choosing a theme and getting everything up and running on the new domain name.

Earnings for last 3 days: Around $40 dollars. 3 items sold.
 
Glad to see you are doing great! Hope you will continue to update this thread, and as a small tip I would advice you to post the earnings you made that day when you get your Amazon sales report

How many reviews do you have on your sites and what's the average length in words per article ?

I haven't counted as it is increasing everyday. I am aiming for at least 50 per site. Average words 350.

Day 12:

Site 1: 0 reviews
Site 2: 0 reviews
Site 3: 3 reviews

No sales today clicks through to Amazon increasing gradually though.

Another sale today $8 dollars one item from an unrelated niche. That's a great feature of Amazon associates.

You made your first sale on something like day 7. Did you have a site/page ranked on the first page of G that soon? Where are the sales producing site's ranked? Or maybe a site doesn't have to be on the first page to get traffic/sales? You made no mention of any backlinking, just adding more content. Maybe it's easier than I thought.
