This could be worth a try if people really want to earn quick money on the internet. The catch however is that you are misleading your followers to think that there is an actual giveaway and that it was actually won by a random name when in fact there is no giveaway and the winner is just fake. I think those who would try this technique should try and make a real giveaway once in a while to be fair.

A note about giveaways, you can get banned if you don't follow certain compliance rules for giveaways. Facebook really cracks down on fake giveaways, so I wouldn't risk it with Instagram. Giveaways are totally fine, but make sure you follow some of the requirements. If you do a search there are lists of WOMMA recommendations or whatever.

it would be better when your Insta rofile is open or close for non followers? what can you say?
If you decide to not actually give anything away and setup a fake account to make it seem like one of your followers won, isn't that fraud? Benefitting financially through deceit or falsehood. Any lawyers in here? I would love to try this method. I'm just unsure of where this stands in terms of the law. My apologies if this was already addressed and I missed it.

Just a very good twist to convince them and grow an email list:
Make a landing page, where they need to enter their email and name. You will need to use getresponse or something like that to capture the emails.
When they have entered their email and name, send them an email saying "You have won! Hurry up before I choose another winner. Go on this page: insert link, and do a survey. This way I know that you're a real person."
The link could be www . mywebsite . com/winner/ or something like that.
When they have done the survey, they will be redirected to the next page, where it will say "Sorry, another winner has already redeemed it."
You can choose whatever you want to write in the email, just try to convince them.
REMEMBER! You don't have to choose CPAGrip or other desktop programs.
I HIGHLY suggest using OGMobi. This is for mobile users, their offers are 99% easier to do. They only have to install an app, run it for 30 seconds. It will not pay as much, but your conversion rate will be much better.
So basically:

Make them do the offer to confirm that they are not a bot (or something like that)
Tell them that another winner has already redeemed the prize.
