15-Year-Old Domain Not Indexing on Google Despite Setup & Quality Links

I recently registered a 15-year-old domain. Previously, it was parked on Sedo and had a parked index page. After setting up my website and adding content, I installed the Rank Math SEO plugin and submitted the site to Google Search Console.

I also added a sitemap, and Search Console accepted it without any warnings. However, the "Discovered - currently not indexed" page count remains at 0, and it doesn't show any subpages of the sitemap, meaning Google isn't reading it properly.

It's been a week, and none of my pages have been indexed. I used "Request Indexing" for several links in Google Search Console but still no results. I also built 5-6 high-quality backlinks, yet nothing got indexed.

What could be the issue, and what should I do to fix this?

I got this from Rank Math's site "To ensure your website is set to "index" using the Rank Math SEO plugin, navigate to your WordPress dashboard, go to Rank Math SEO > Titles & Meta, and check that all relevant pages and post types are set to "Index" instead of "Noindex" in the Robots Meta settings"

Submit the sub-sitemaps as well (posts, pages, categories, etc...),
Request manual indexing for the homepage and other 10+- top pages,
And just be patient about it,

Good auction domains tend to get indexed naturally real quick tho, this is not a good sign,
Just because the domain is 15 yo, doesn't make it any much better,
It's more about how clean its usage & links and how good is the link profile

also check the cache plugin & purge it

I think you can check your plug-in in this case rank math settings whether you set it as no index tag. if so then make it "index".
Another thing to keep in mind is that clearing the cache can show you the exact scenario.
