Hey everyone. I'm 14, making about $800mo from scriptwriting. I have connections with a trader who taught me everything to get where I am right now. But I have a huge problem. Since I'm under 18, I can't have an account under my name. I don't know where to tell my client to send me money.

Where did I previously have my money?

I told my client to send it to "my PayPal account," which was actually my friend's. He already had some ID/bank issues, and he recently got hacked. My money is safe but he can't send or recieve money for now, cause the hacker did so much stuff that he still has to sort that out.

Why can't I tell my parents?

I don't want to tell my parents about this because they aren't that understanding, and even if I told them, they can't help me. We get a yearly tax return ($10k), and if my scriptwriting gets added into the household income, we wouldn't get the tax return. If it were $5k/month, then there could be a way to tell them.

Have you considered alternatives to PayPal?

Most of them have the 18+ rule or are under parental control.

Have you tried prepaid cards?

Can't go buy it. Parents will get suspicious Plus I'm not sure how to get the client to send money to it

My biggest concern right now is having a place for the client to send money and having access to it in some way. Even if it's in a trustworthy person's account, that's fine. (Just like my parents, no one knows about this).

A bit about me:
- Live in the USA
- Have $5k saved up in my friend's account
- Currently in high school
- No one knows about my income

It's a long shot, but I hope someone has been through something similar and found a workaround or at least knows what to do in this situation.
