$1000 to invest/spend

I have 1000 dollars sitting in my savings and I feel like it's a waste to have liquid cash doing nothing. No rent to pay, no need to buy food, or buy car parts. Anyone have ideas on the smartest way to utilize this money?

Do shopify (paid)/woocommerce (free) drop shipping with Instagram and Facebook ads.
 
First of all, be careful you might be getting PMs from scammers who are just out to get your money lol

Others than that, this is how I would be go about it:
a) get some niche site and rank them.
b) invest in some tools for automation and let them run 247 to make money

Check out Black Hat SEO page. Read all the sticky posts then order by replies and read all the ones that your interested in.
 
I recommend to start a niche site and rank it to get targeted traffic and sales. You may start Amazon niche sites.

For me it's leftover grant money from College that I sent off to my savings account.

Ah, that I understand and props to not wasting it as other students do (I'm in college and have seen many do so). I agree with the comment above. Start a website basically.

However, if you have interest or experience in another field then pursue that instead.

Go on Crigslist and find people that need a logo designed and charge them $50, then hire someone on Fiverr to do your logo for $5 bucks. Minimal investment :) Use a couple hundred dollars from your savings to build a really nice professional site to promote your new logo design business. If you need leads from craigslist I have 100's, just PM me :)
 
Same advice as I gave here ( and several other similar threads ). Keep hold of your money, read and then decide which avenue you want to go down.

Your money is like your children. When you send them off to camp, you want them to come back with as many friends possible. As the parent, you do deep dive research to see what the opportunity is before letting your children go. Read, learn and understand then execute.
 
I think dropshipping with right understanding how to spend your money on ads is a good and steady way to earn extra cash.
Make sure you don't spend all your money on facebook ads :)
