$1000 to invest/spend

I have 1000 dollars sitting in my savings and I feel like it's a waste to have liquid cash doing nothing. No rent to pay, no need to buy food, or buy car parts. Anyone have ideas on the smartest way to utilize this money?

Ah, that I understand and props to not wasting it as other students do (I'm in college and have seen many do so). I agree with the comment above. Start a website basically.

However, if you have interest or experience in another field then pursue that instead.

Go on Crigslist and find people that need a logo designed and charge them $50, then hire someone on Fiverr to do your logo for $5 bucks. Minimal investment Use a couple hundred dollars from your savings to build a really nice professional site to promote your new logo design business.
