Hello,
we are moving servers to another cage, but sadly it doesn't depend solely on us. As soon as the server is moved, it will be powered back on.
Thank you for understanding. Every client affected by this downtime will be accordingly compensated.

I have seen some come back online, offshore-servers.com has the same problem but they at least have an update page. I've learnt from this to always have a spare backup server

I have 7 down, I asked about compensation and they ignored the question.
I was told that all affected customers will receive compensation, and that some customers are already back online. I also found another update here: https://panel.offshore-servers.com/announcements/54/Service-Outage-Update-2--Equinix-AM4-Incident-.html — their servers in the same data center have been affected as well. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer.

What have you seen come online? Some of your own servers?

They asked me for the ip of a server that was a "priority" for me to get online, but all of my servers are needed for my network to run properly, I gave them an IP anyway and they said it should be online "tomorrow" (this was yesterday) still not online

I believe that Koddos is KnownSRV, which is very curious. Since both had some downtime at the same time or in the same day. Which could be a coincidence, but hard to believe.

In this case contact them or wait. Always backup your files and move on. Never rely in one provider, have always backup for plan B, C and use them for reverse proxy. Offshore hostings are like a mouse of cat and rat. You never will know when it can go down or seized for whatever reason.

There is no coincidence, multiple providers were affected by this. Whether KnownSRV and Koddos are related to eachother or just part of the same server cage(s) that were affected I'm not sure.

I can't confirm anything, but the date and hours aren't coincidence. Since both of that providers operate in a smart way.
Also, how you know is the server cages that got affected and not seized by police or other organization or even datacenter? It never will be the first time.

You don't know, I don't know. But my recommendation for who are using them is to stay alert.
Remember that Koddos hosts a lot of sh*t (check their IPs and see)... I shouldn't be surprised if one rack of them are seized.

Anyway, i can't confirm anything. So is just a rumor.
