I’ve been looking back at some of the sites I’ve worked on and one thing I keep noticing is that the biggest jumps usually didnt come from one big change.
It was more like fixing the pages that were already getting impressions, improving the content around the main topic, better internal links and then adding some good relevant links over time.
The funny thing is the work that feels boring at the time is often what ends up making the biggest difference.
I’d be interested to hear what other people have seen. Was there one change that gave you a much bigger jump than you expected?
