[HELP] Have a old blog relying only on SEO traffic in last years

Hello

I Have a old blog which I had been relying only on SEO to get traffic overtime in last years.
My blog reach around 40000 visitors per month but most of my traffic comes from india, pakistan, Bangladesh, Africa and other Tier 3 countries (which I don't want that audience) .

I want just audience from Tier 1 countries like United States and Canada.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I would like to get some advice to solve this problem.
I appreciate any kind of help in order to attract only Tier 1 traffic.

Another question is Direct traffic like posting in multiple forums, communities discussion boards, press releases, guest post are a more effective way to deliver goods amounts of Tier 1 traffic and faster to get the traffic, instead of relying only on SEO to deliver quality traffic?

Also, I wouldn’t block other countries outright, as that could affect legitimate visitors and organic visibility.

Yes you are right. But my main audience besides my blog like from my Facebook and Instagram accounts are mainly from United States, Canada and UK (Tier 1 countries) so I want the same audience in my blog too. That's why I'm asking this question.
I'm tired of relying only on SEO because it seems very instable sometimes and even using good keywords and writing high quality content it doesn't push the audience I want.

So also I think about use direct traffic strategies like posting in multiple forums, press releases, paid guest post in specific websites, and see if it could be more effective to attract this specific audience.
What do you recommend to do in order to increase the traffic in my blog? I appreciate any help.
 
You probably cannot force SEO traffic to come only from the US and Canada i would target topics and keywords where those markets are actually the main audience
 
guest posts and relevant communities can help with exposure but i would not expect them to suddenly replace 40k monthly SEO visits with US traffic

yes of course. But I do reviews on few affiliate marketing digital products and the most buyer audience are from USA. I dont want to target dozens of countries that don't convert in sales!

Im tired of people that don't end up buying things! you understand my point now?
 
Try focus on targeting US/Canada search intent instead of trying to filter out other countries.

Country specific topics, keywords, examples, and pricing can make a big difference.

Forums and guest posts can help bring targeted traffic, but I’d treat them as an extra channel rather than replacing SEO.
 
How are you monetizing ? I feel that you are using adsense and thus getting less pay with that traffic. Better is to change monetization method for that traffic as per the country.

go into GSC and filter the Performance report to US/Canada first. see which queries and pages are already getting impressions there, then build more around those instead of trying to change the geo of all 40k visitors. at least i think that way...

Apart from writing your content in English (or in french for Canada) and building it around specific locations in the US and Canada, you cannot do anything else to exclude where you get your traffic from.

yes, country-specific keyword phrase nd country ex from the USA/Canada will be more effective than trying to avoid mentioning other countries.
 
Since sales are the real goal, check which landing pages already get US/Canada visitors and conversions. Improve those pages first instead of trying to change the country mix of the whole site.

Yes, I would begin with those pages that have been driving US and Canadian visitors and sales. No need to redesign the entire site when you can build on success.

tbf, i’d target US/Canada-specific queries first, then use guest posts and niche communities to speed up referral traffic.
 
Guest posts can bring Tier 1 visitors, but choose websites whose existing audience is actually from the US or Canada rather than judging the site only by its DR.
