Are Ai written articles still ranking consistently in 2026?

It can surely rank if you pay more attention and edit them. I believe it will be more useful as time passes.

Ai take references from 100's of website then come up with the pitch, sometimes it gives the source beside, you can humanize tool which are free to make it look like human written content.
 
I think the bigger question is how much editing is actually needed. Sometimes a good AI draft only needs fact checking and a few real examples, while other topics need much more rewriting. It probably depends a lot on the niche and how competitive the keyword is.

If you use paid editing tools it will work fine. Other wise you have to edit the articles. Then yes, Ai written article will still rank in 2026.
 
still ranking for me, my whole supporting layer is ai written and it does its job which is get indexed and pass a link. money site i still edit by hand +fable /astra. the people saying it fell off are mostly using it for the pages that need to convert
 
AI content can still rank in 2026, but quality matters. Useful, human-edited content lasts; generic AI fluff usually doesn’t.

You should not rely on AI content especially if you want to earn from the site long term. You should use human content.
 
You are right. Pure AI content usually drops in rank after a few weeks if you don't edit it. Keep doing your manual tweaks and adding good internal and external links, and your sites will be ranked.

yeap.., ai content is still ranking, but consistency comes down to quality of fnl page rather than how it's produced. Some stuff like adding manual, stronger internal linking, better formatting. og insights and match of search intent make big act. Fully auto content lacks signals, which may be instability.

Yeah, I don't think ai itself is the problem imo. The exposure of generic output without firsthand value is the problem, so editing and adding examples is important.

How old is the website and were you able to maintain rankings ?

What is your planning with these small sites ? Is it just churn and burn ? If this is the case, only then use AI content on the site.

Right. I don’t think AI is the problem, rather it is the low effort input that does not contribute anything new. As long as you put your own experience and examples along with the use of AI in drafting, it is fine.

Actually not really. I still testing different way to use AI. Same time, I want keep working my site and see how they do over time.

Honestly I not sure how old the site. I'm not tracking the rankings for long time, so I can not really say how stable they ate right now.
 
Manual editing and unique insights seem to make AI content much more stable long term.
 
I’ve also experimented with blogs featuring content written entirely by AI. Most of them didn’t rank well, while a few initially ranked fairly well but then dropped in the search results very quickly.
 
AI works well as a draft, but human edits and unique insights improve long-term stability.
