I don't find Google PAA and others like before, are they collapsed for AI Overview?

I noticed that People Also Asked (PAA) questions, and other key phrase suggestions we find on almost every query is not coming up again like before.

This became a thing shortly before the emergence of AI in search engines.

Now, Google seems to devalue them so users can focus on AI Overview, their new cash cow, which they intend to monetise soon.

What's your take on this, do you also notice or experience a similar thing or am I just overthinking?

I wouldn’t assume PAA is being globally replaced by AI Overviews. Google describes AI Overviews as something that shows when their systems think it adds value to classic Search, and they don’t trigger on every query

The hard part is that checking random queries can make the change look bigger than it really is. I’d track the same 50–100 queries in your niche for a couple of weeks and note when PAA and AI Overviews appear.

That should make it much easier to tell whether PAA is actually dropping in your niche or you’re just seeing normal SERP variation

Google’s AI snippets have made them pretty much obsolete, imo. Plus, most of these were low-quality sites anyway, so Google played it well and used that to their advantage.

google is doing anything to promote that AI response even tho as a person i like it but as a business man its affecting me and i have been thinking of many ways to use that to my advantage

I haven't noticed any significant changes. The only thing I notice recently is that, unlike before where you have a long PAA list, now it's shorter with just few suggestions

It might not replace it, but the system is tilted towards AI Overview more.

PAA was meant to keep people on the search page, now AI is doing that job already.

I think so

Definitely

Yeah, it's very obvious Google doesn't give much attention to it like before

PAA visibility does seem more inconsistent now, but I wouldn’t assume it’s simply being removed for AI Overviews.

SERPs change a lot by query, location, device, and intent, so I’d compare the same keywords over time before drawing conclusions.
