Yeah, I don't know what the hell the original poster is talking about, but anyways...
I honestly wish there was a way to be vetted so that those who could fast-track or upgrade sooner would be able to do that. I am a business owner looking for great talent and do a lot of research. I would love to be able to bypass all of this waiting: 60 days, 2 months, a million posts and comments, and all these types of things. I get the need for genuine interaction, but I think it hurts people who are freelancers and are looking for good clients and similar opportunities.

Surprisingly, bots aren't that good at enduring all that criteria. They're very easy to spot and get banned. So, having this barrier does help preventing some spam. If all it took was to pay the membership, this would be drowning in scammers
