I'd focus on email marketing, referral traffic, niche communities, social media, and direct brand traffic. Building a loyal audience is far more sustainable than relying on a single platform. Google is important, but diversification is the real long-term strategy. This is something I have been thinking about recently.
Many websites depend heavily on Google, but algorithm updates can change things overnight.
If search engines suddenly stopped sending traffic tomorrow, what channel would you focus on first? Social media, email marketing, communities, direct traffic, something else?
I would like to hear how diversified everyone's traffic sources are.
First of all it is impossible if Google disappear. So in case imagine google disappear and there is no way we can get traffice from Google. Then the best, easy and effective way to get traffice is from social media because name someone who does not use social media. Have any? No right. Because now everbody is on social media and spend hours daily on it. So the best, easy and effective way to get traffice is Social Media. This is something I have been thinking about recently.
