Are Ai written articles still ranking consistently in 2026?

I have noticed the same during testing.AI written articles can perform well after adding human edits,proper formatting,and strong internal links.But fully automated content still feel inconsistent for long term rankings and stability.

Yeah, I've noticed the some thing so far. AI-assisted content can still perform well, but the pages that seem more stable usually have some manual improvement behind them.

Purely automated articles feel a lot more inconsistent long term from what I'm testing.

The short answer is yes, AI-written articles are still ranking in 2026, but the "how" has changed significantly. While you can still find pure AI content on page one, the era of "click-and-rank" with raw outputs is effectively over.
 
I agree. AI-written articles with manual editing are doing well, especially when we add unique viewpoints, unique angles, and examples while matching the search intent

Yeah, that's pretty close to how I'm looking at it too. AI helps speed thing up, but the pages that seem to hold ranking better usually have some real editing and added context behind them.

The "AI for the skeleton, human for the meat" part actually makes a lot of sense.
 
Same here. AI seems great for scaling drafts, but the pages that hold rankings usually have human refinement, better structure, and stronger topical relevance.
 
actually they dont rank now and the content is so out like robotic so now i dont use google for such purposes

One of our auto-blog networks had been under a Google filter since 2023. After improving the prompts to make them more natural and switching to modern language AI models, Google reinstated all of our pages in the index. Thus, it is clear that search engines now index AI-generated content perfectly.
 
YES AI content is working . But content must be edit sensibly acording to google crawler. its working and give you good and immediate reuslts.

No, raw AI content is undetectable today if you use the right prompts and content sources. That's why Google incorporated a hidden statistical watermark into all content generated by Gemini, identifying it as AI-generated. Although there are ways to remove this watermark, a better solution is to use alternative, undetectable models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
 
Ai content are good in optimize of pages if rewrite and plagiarism report fix with copyscape pass to optimize the content for webpage index or ranking.
