Anyone have success appealing an Amazon Associates closure?

One of my AA accounts attached to what I thought was a fully compliant website got closed tonight. Out of curiosity, has anyone here has had any luck reopening or appealing account closures like this or is it a fools errand? Ideally I would like to fix whatever problems they have with the...

[GoDaddy] I have NEVER EVER seen such terrible design before

I'm amazed that they have any customers at all, but low price reigns supreme. The last time I used GoDaddy, it was to make some simple DNS changes for an ex-client. What takes a few minutes at any other host took up to 2 hours before the zone file was updated, which means an even longer delay...

Earn money from Web Hosting - Start your own company

This is absolutely the worst idea for making money, I'm not even going to download your little book to see what you wrote. There are very few enterprises that require both advanced technical knowledge to manage not just servers and switches but entire systems all while offering 24/7 customer...

How does backlink sites find your backlinks?

They have bots that trawl through sites and count links to external domains. When you do a backlink search for your domain, it pulls together a list from their database of all sites that link to your domain.

social bots: api or browser automation

Browser plugins, specifically Firefox addons are far superior to apps that try to fake the experience. The reason is that those apps are easy to fingerprint due to not pulling supporting assets in the pages, or in the case of apps, don't report to the stats or crash reporting services.

How easy/difficult is it to rank a site LOCALLY (for e.g. google.de) & beat the big guys?

Depends on your competition. Highly trusted websites will be tough to beat even if you have a .com.au TLD. I'm competing on a broad scale in 7 different countries and each has its own individual domain and country-specific TLD. I can't claim that it works better than a .com, but to date I...

14 manual actions in one day!! income cut in half - own pbn to blame

I'd take down the PBN immediately before your other sites gets penalties. You should wash your hands of the PBN and grovel in your reconsideration request. Start rebuilding immediately because after you discover that they won't rescind their penalty, at least you'll already have a head start...

My site was just HAMMERED with Google manual action. Any hope?

Watch Matt Cutts' video about manual penalties, he explains exactly what a good reconsideration request consists of. It's a manual process so stay calm and extremely polite.

    Amazon Sues fiverr review sellers

They did a round of lawsuits earlier this year, too. Yelp sued a law firm a couple of years ago over allegedly fake reviews, but they ended up settling. Really curious to watch how this plays out.

    What am i doing wrong?

Did you use "Boost Post" to advertise it? If so, that's probably also one of the reasons. It's like paying a blind person to stand on a street corner to hand out flyers. Use Ad Manager instead to better target the potential customers.

My journey to $500 a day writing erotica on Amazon

Just to pipe in another voice of support, thanks for keeping this updated. It's always fascinating to see how others are earning, but damn are you working your ass off to pull those pennies together. I really hope it pays off in the end.

    Why I stopped using Skype

ActiveCollab is my current favorite, but it's not cheap. $500 for the self hosted version, but it does everything from project management to time tracking and invoicing and handling payments. Only big feature it's missing is creating tasks by email. My main problem with the free open source...
