I can attest that it is still very doable to sell thrift store items on ebay and turn over profit. I also sell antiques on ebay. Most people get into trouble trying to sell name brand new stuff which trips the vero trigger.

Yeah he just might. You never know about these guys. They play dirty and instead of fair competition they hurt their fellow ebay sellers in the industry. They are low life's and cannot be taught anything.
