If i have to choose i would go for the homepage, but normally i would build links for both at the same time.

For smaller sites i would say that it is not worth it. But if you have a bigger site, like i can tell MisterF has, then i would say too that it is absolutely worth it.

Content is more important that links. Without content or just crappy content, Google will smash you down ind the SERP because of your visitors will leave your site immediately - and then your links are not worth so much anyway. BUT with great content you can boost your rankings with backlinks...

Don't worry about DA, DR or any other metrics from 3. parts like Ahrefs, Moz and so on.. Google doen't count those metrics for anything - they are just metrics for their own "algorithm". But if you really just want to raise your DA you need to build great backlinks.

As the comments above: proper keyword research for each post and optimise every single thing as every other page. Keep ind mind to write to the users and not only Google, Bing and so on. What are people need of answers and problems? Answer their questions and problems and focus on long-tail...

Nope.. Way to expensive for a nofollow link - unless you are getting som real heavy traffic from it to potentially lead to sales. For the link alone it's not worth.. At all.. Buy a couple of 50+ DA links for that price instead without the nofollow tag.

Sure you can build your site like that. Sounds like its a bit of the same thing as building a webshop with the "sort by" function. When a webshop have this option that you can sort by price (high/low), newest or whatever.. This will show the users the same thing - and become duplicate content...
