Hey Guys

Just want to know if 301 redirect of a domain still pass juice instead of building site and get a backlink from it ..

Thanks

301 works although it takes a little time. I have a website ranking well with 3 domains redirects and some few web 2.0 links.

So how can i do it the right way ?

You get it from old domain ?
create a page with the same old domain link and create a backlink from there
only for the best links on that old website

I works but you have to send the backlinks to the domains to indexer like speed links or index inject

You mean build the site again

Best mechanisms are based on content related redirections. This is difficult to spot sometimes, but if you redirect, lets say a dog breeding article to a financial service article, the probability of profiting from that 301 is very low.

Most people recommend disguising content for the 301. Example. If there original article is a dog breeding article, you can write in the financial site a topic regarding dog assurances and how it may benefit your financials (or something like that). Then the 301 will be much more effective. On a 301, Google expects a reasonable redirect, and I'm 99% sure that Google link juicing have some implicit properties on the formula, like cohesion of the category.

Well, in most cases, no. Redirects are not bad for your site, only if you put them in place correctly. Lousy implementation of 301 redirects can cause trouble for your website.

If the redirect goes to a website that is not precisely good enough for those rankings you previous website had, that's something Google will keep in mind and kill your rankings.

I find that quite hit and miss. I have non related 301's giving a very nice boost and others not. I see competitors with excellent results from non related 301's as well. I sometimes think it is down to the quality of the domain you are redirecting. If it is viewed as clean by G.

I never go with a 301 ATM except for strange situations, but these were the recommended guidelines by Google. If we cannot trust those guidelines, then shut down all the on page strategies.

LOL - Google also tell us not to build links... :anyway: As I said, non related 301's are a bit hit and miss for me, but definitely DO work for clean domains.

It's not the same. Here Google advice on how to make those links considering the fact that they should be made for a major purpose (i.e. web migration).
I'm not saying that 301 just don't plainly work. I think that 301 good domains are simply a bad exchange. But if you are doing this massively and you don't have the resources to make it better, then it might be just ok.

Yes it does..but make sure the new site is relevant to the old site ..because redirecting to completely different niche wont do you any good..
