I have noticed that some quora answers can perform extremely well for months or even years generating consistent views and engagement , only to experience a sudden decline in traffic without any obvious changes to the content itself.
for those who have been active on quora for a long time ...
this is pretty common. usually small budgets look good because delivery is controlled but when you scale then meta starts expanding reach fast and the same audience burns out or gets less responsive. in most cases it comes down to creatives and gradual scaling rather than just increasing budget.
Hey Everyone,
i have been tracking a few keywords where my pages were ranking consistently but recently i have seen something odd.
Pages with clearly lower authority and fewer backlinks have suddenly replaced mine in the rankings.
My pages are still indexed still relevant and have not lost...
strong link stacks do not always win anymore if the page is not fully matching intent of the site still lacks overall trust signals. in some cases, similar pages with better relevance or engagement can outrank heavier link profiles.
it happens quite often now. even if position and impressions are fine then CTR can drop when google changes how results are shown or when users already get the answer direct on SERP. Small title tweaks sometimes make a difference.

i do not think it is a major issue if the redirects are working properly but i would still update the sitemap to the current canonical version.
it helps keep things cleaner for google and avoid any unnecessary confusion.
i have seen sites rank fine with this setup but fixing it is definitely...
