Hey everyone,
I have been trying to grow my linkedin network and something feels off.
A few months ago i was getting a decent acceptance rate but now most of my connection requests seem to be ignored. I am targeting similar people and using pretty much the same approach.
Not sure if linkedin changed something or if i am missing a better strategy.
Has anyone else noticed this? What is currently working for building connections without looking spammy?

maybe you were spam requesting, and you got a shadowban. Sometimes linkedin will send a warning message when you are accpeting a connection from a marketer. That might have happened to you, which can slow down your acceptance rate. Slow down and maybe it will go away

Check whether your LinkedIn account has received any warnings or restrictions. Also, try being more active by engaging with other people's posts and see if you start receiving more connection requests.

LinkedIn is seen to be stricter when it come to cold networking. making connection based on building rapport via engaging with the profile in questions is a beter way to connect with others than randomly trying to get into contact with people.
