Alternatives To Instagress?

Igerslike is another one, which comes to mind as a web based solution.

It's "funny" how fast things change in our line of work. Tools we take for granted can go down from one day to another.

Make every day count, peeps. We will never know which one is the last.

So true. That's why it's super important to log everything! Keep stats/metrics/logs of all that is done --- because in using these tools, there's tons that is learned and tons of work that can be destroyed from one day to the next.

Currently on Growthpup's 3 day trial and everything seems fine so far. The only thing I wished they had was the ability to like my own followers posts during the period that I post to increase engagement, other than that the followers gained so far seems to be legit and organic. I could probably contact support to request for the feature to occasionally like my follower's posts though, i'm not sure.

Hello!

We would like to suggest you to try Instaplus.io. You can target users according to number of follows/followers and Instaplus runs tasks on fresh active users first by default. You can comment and do autoposting. It is also possible to target your audience by hashtags, geotags and even competitors followers base. Please. let us know if you find Instaplus useful. We are also always happy to hear your feedback!
Have fun!

I was about to use Instaplus but then it ask me to turn off Two-step setting, why? I'd use it for my personal account but why do i need to turn it off? It's what makes my account secure...

So these are a few options:

-instaplus
-Boostfy
-noworriesbot
-Firingtable.com
-roboinsta (although i only heard it from what seemed like spam posts on this forum),
-instalex (same as roboinsta),
-instup.me,
-igerslike,
-growthpup,
-massplanner (desktop),
-followliker(desktop).

There might be a risk in using any product wit 'Insta' or 'gram' in it since that's one of the reasons instagress was shut down.

From what I can gather the forum favorite is massplanner and or followliker (at least for twitter).

Has anyone tried any of these? Thoughts? Opinions? Any comment would be useful.

lol - because they cannot log into your account. 2factor auth is so *you* can prove it is *you* logging it. but it isn't *you* it is a bot who cannot then log in ;-)

Followliker and massplanner are not online though. I hate using the VPS. It doesnt work on my pc.

crazy people, everybody is talking how they closed instagress because of the name, and all these super services popping out use the same exact insta- name :))

No way they closed because of the name. They would just be contacted and saying "you cannot use that name". They would have been contacted and threatened with legal action for breaking the TOS of ISG. There was a case last year (int the US) that ruled a websites TOS were legally binding. Unfortunately I don't recall the exact details, but they used some hacking laws. Similarly was the case with Blizzard and a game playing bot seller, although I think that was more todo with fraud due to be able to automate actions in the game to generate funds.

UPDATE: I will have to change to another service soon. Their customer service (supposedly 24 hours) takes forever to reply. This could be due to them being a smaller and newer company, hence unable to handle all their emails, but I can't count on that as I'd very much prefer a more consistent support system.

I've also heard they do comments, which I was not informed of. I don't personally like running comments on my accounts due to the increased risk, and would appreciate if I actually knew what they were doing. I would email them to stop running comments but again, their email responses are hit or miss at best.

All in all, this service is great if you just want a botting service that is just 'set and forget', and not for you if you're the type to customize certain aspects of the process.

I've left GrowthPup's free trial. Was not satisfied with their service based on the reasons stated in my previous post in this thread.

I have since started on NoWorriesBot and am on their 3 day trial. Will update in 3 days my experience with it.
I'll be absolutely savage if I hate it; won't cushion my blows.

So far the setup process has been smooth. Love the analytics function that shows you the conversion rate of each account (Instagress sorely lacked this function).

I have two gripes with it as of now:
  1. Has an option to 'sleep' an account, though only for 3-4hrs. Wish that extended to a range and possibly up to 8 hours.
  2. Does not tell me exactly the range of numbers that their various 'speed' setting does. I can, however, set daily/hourly limits on follow/unfollow/like so not too bothered by it.
  3. Would be nice if they had a schedule function on when to operate the bot.
Other than that, the bot has been pretty nice so far. So far. Will report back.

Sounds like you need a bot that already has the functionality and lets you tell it what to do. Rather than just give control of your account blindly to a service ;-)

Love the updates! Keep them coming.

Anybody else try any of the ones I've listed?
