Hi BH,

I am using SB to get links for posting to. My big issue is it seems impossible to grab links from Google in mass. I can get a few thousand then it gives only errors.

Using 50 Sock proxies and would like it to run a large campaign pulling links for 1k+ keywords.

Any advice?

Thx

Its your proxies. You need access to a big pool of proxies to scrape google en masse, doesnt matter which app you are using for scraping google.

Like lower quality proxies but high numbers?

Like higher quality proxies and higher numbers. I think a lot of people that use scrape box uses Storm proxies. You will prolly want to ask @loopline

You might also consider scraping the other search engines too. They are not as strict with IP or throwing capctha's.

My issue with the others is there is know way to know if the links are G indexed. If they aren't its a waste of time

I use Stormproxies and I honestly do not even bother with Google. Not really worth the threads. Especially not for a mass scraping. Yahoo and Bing will do the job. Not sure whether you need to know if the links are indexed for potential targets or for checking your own tier 2+ backlinks, but if for the former, you can always just trim the links to root and check whether they are indexed that way. If the root domain is indexed, there's a good chance that the internal page will be as well.

You can always try our private SCRAPE proxies which with good SB settings based on @loopline tips are very good and cheap solution.

We have packages for smaller and massive harvest actions.

All the best!

Use Google API instead of scraping Google. I use thousands of proxies scraped with GSA Proxy Scraper, scraping for new proxies & re-checking proxies every hour.

Just use bing for most things. I can find thousands of public proxies and bang then the hell out bing with them, getting quick results.

Bing is fine but I see about 20% aren't google indexed. But ok public seems to be working fine. Just time consuming to pull them

You can also use deeperweb, google api and start page, as they are all googled powered but have their own IP bans. You can use private proxies just fine with google if you go slow enough, your errors are just ip bans. I have a video here:

I bought sb years ago and it was always a very good tool, especially when version 2 came out and it had hella search engines integrated. May have to go buy it again and see whether it supports ipv6, because if it does it opens up a wider range of possibilities.
