Why???
Millions of internet users do so on mobiles these days. There are thousands of different devices with internet connectivity.
Creating a website solely for desktop users nowadays is plain dumb!

This is a big mistake right there. Make the site mobile friendly. A yuge percentage of your visitors will be mobile.

It's not even that difficult to make your site mobile friendly.
If you use wordpress there are pre built responsive themes, plugins to switch themes and even if you don't want to do any of those you can either do the work manually yourself or hire someone who will get the job done in just a few hours.
