Bye Instagress... Hello BLANK! Step by step setup help needed.

Like a lot of people on here, I was using Instagress. But now that it's gone, I thought I'd start a thread to help people like me figure out what we need to do for the likes of FollowLiker and MassPlanner. I've read we need to set up a VPS, VM, match the IP Addresses to our local city, etc.

Could someone with some experience detail a Step by Step action list to help novice community members set themselves up with one of these alternative software products?

The below steps may seem super newbie but as a newbie on minimal sleep it took me a while to figure this out....

1) Find a VPS provider (google clouds/Amazon both offer free trials)
2) Signup for free 5 day trial on Massplanner
3) Make VPS on VPS provider (I used Windows Server 2012)
4) Download the .rdp file from VPS provider (file you open to access VPS on your computer)
5) If on Mac (like me) download "Microsoft Remote Desktop"
6) Open .rdp file with Microsoft Remote Desktop app
7) Use login/password provided by VPS provider for access to VPS
8) Realize it's a new OS and security settings are high in Internet explorer...make sure you are allowing downloads
9) Open up email account used to register Massplanner, click on welcome email that has link to massplanner download file. If it states it can't be run on your version of microsoft download the zipped version of the program (on same website page) and then try to run it that way...
10) Open file, login using information provided to you in Massplanner welcome email.
11) Find good Massplanner tutorial on BHW..follow tutorial

OMG is it compulsory to do this steps? i didn't use any vps, vm etc when i used instagress. why MP or FL can't provide simple user friendly service like instagress?
 
I would like to know as I also don't use VPS (or whatever esle) with MP.
I just use MP for one or two accounts.

Is my IP computer matching my local city using MP ?
Sorry, I'm a newbie about this subject. Especially because my English is not that good to understand that.

They are different. Instagress had less features and less power. It was newbie friendly but in doing so did not provide the power nor functionality of more advanced bots.

instagress was more aimed at people with a single account to promote a real business IMO. A webshop, a group etc.


FL / massplanner / instadub can do that, but also give the power to run bulk accounts in the promotion of real / fake accounts.

Different things for different uses

I can't seem to figure out the MassPlanner trial part. Do I have to enter my credit card details for the trial? I don't have a credit card currently.

If I remember correctly? Yes...google "prepaid debit card." Depending on your country you maybe able to get one at your local big box retailer for cheap/free...load some cash on to it and you'll be good.

With Google Cloud/Amazon, can you dictate what city those server sit in?
 
That's a terrible info but there are 4 topics like that posted in the last hour :)
 
I think all you need is a software like UBOT and some good proxies. I successfully did over 100 actions in under an hour with a fresh 2 day old account using the Instagram website so I'm going to scale this way.. not using UBOT though but an alternative
