How do we whitelist an IP so that we can view the modal box for testing purposes?

Hi,

To test the plugin please do the following:

1) Go to the advanced settings of the Like Jacker and click the 'flush database' button.
2) Do NOT block any countries or IP's
3) Set the jacking percentage to 100%
4) If you have a WP cache plugin installed, clear all caches and clear minified css/js files
5) Log out of your Wp Admin
6) Go to your FB page and unlike your page (or make sure it isn't already liked)
5) Log out of FB
7) Clear your browsers cookies and cache
8) Log in to your FB account
9) Visit your website as a regular visitor

That's not a good solution, and it's what I'm currently doing now. The modal box disappears after the first time. So are you suggesting we have to keep repeating those steps for every small change we make which we want to view?

Yes. White listing IP's makes no sense really. You either want the plugin to Like Jack someone or you don't. That's why it has all of the features built in to it that allow you to tell it not to Like Jack certain traffic to your site.

To be honest, the above steps take about a minute of your time.

What are you needing to keep making tests for? If the plugin Like Jacks you then it is working and no further testing is needed.

If you are testing to see what the content of the modal box looks like then please don't keep clicking the x of the modal box. If you want to test what the modal box looks like then simply follow the above steps one time so you have the modal box appearing. If you need to make changes to the content of the modal box don't close it.

Just go back to your WP admin, make the changes, hit save and then revisit your site. The modal box will show up again and show the changes you have made.

Hi, yes, that won't be an issue. Once you have a license key you can get that upgraded via our support team at the help desk. The ebook is still included and I am just about to send you a discount code once I have posted this reply

Hi, when a person arrives at your home page, the whole page will load so I am not sure who we would make it so they're only jacked on a certain page of your home page.

For question 2, I can look in to adding this feature.

Would be more than awesome, because right now we can't really say how many users have been like jacked. So we can't directly measure the efficacy of the current settings or the plugin at all! Do you know when you'll add the feature? Really looking forward to it!

Hey bro. Im kinda confuse of what you say. I am one of the users of this plugin. To be honest the plugin WORKS GREAT. But I think promoting your website (with this plugin installed) using facebook ads will break the tos of facebook ads. And may result to ban. Are you sure your competitor are using facebook like jacker or similar?

I have PM'd you a discount code. This is a WP plugin which means it can only be installed on a self hosted WP site. It doesn't work on he free WP sites where you sign up for a a free account at wordpress.com

You need to have a domain and web hosting with the WP script installed so you can add the Like Jacker plugin to your site.
