The best place to go for ScrapeBox tutorials is the video's by Loopline here https://www.youtube.com/user/looplinescrapebox/videos

Hi, Loopline!
I buy scrapebox amd want to buy premium plugin for article scraping and synonimizing.
The question is - will Scrapebox work with russian articles, sites and keywords? will it spin it and give me good quality of content with spintax syntax like {good|best|best ever} ?

I want to use Scrapebox for content creation for my linkbuilding software and for me needed to get from Scrapebox already spinned article in russian in spintax syntax.

thanks in advance for you reply!

The scraper will only scrape articles in English, and the internal spinner only works for English however you can create new databases.

You can create a new database by importing articles containing spintax that have been created with any other rewriter, or by hand and the Article Scraper plugin can build your database from spintax articles by associating all words in spintax with the other words in the spintax. So if your article has

{car|vehicle|automobile}

When it's imported, each word from now on will have the other 2 words as synonyms in the database. So if you have a number of articles with spintax in Russian, then you would be able to create a Russian database.

hihi, is there any tips for expired domain finder?
I used it to crawl cnn.com but the result is not great.
could you share some tips and setting for me? Thanks!

Hi,

I have a requirement from SB for lists. How can I get in touch?

Regards,

has there been any effort regarding updating the source list for rapid indexer, so that only valid workable sources are included?

here is a dummy url: http://www.dsdhsahdksh.com
and when I use whois.net as the source in rapid indexer addon, this the url that it is supposed to go to:
https://www.whois.net/whois/http://www.dsdhsahdksh.com
however, when I paste that url in my browser, i get redirected to whois.net homepage.

shouldn't a page get created with this address: https://www.whois.net/whois/http://www.dsdhsahdksh.com, so that google and others index it?

Hi,

I've tried to use some advanced query in Scrapebox, but I got very low number of results.

For example the query I tried to use is this one: inurl:*magazine*.*

When I type it in google, I got many results (about 1,650,000,000 results), but when I insert the same query in Scrapebox, I got less than 1000 results.

The only search engine I use in Scrapebox is Google.

I wonder is it possible to get more results than 1k for that type of searching (harvesting)? I need at least 10k urls.

Do I have to make some change in Scrapebox's settings in order to get more results or I need more proxies?

Thanks.

The reason could be just that cnn.com doesnt have a lot of expired domains on their pages, i know a lot of people crawl that site so expired domains there get snapped up fairly quickly. To work out if that's the case or something else is wrong try crawling Wikipedia.org and you should get expired domains within 5 minutes or so.

Can i Increase my Youtube Video Views with your software ?

No ScrapeBox doesn't watch the video when the page is loaded, and i believe a portion of the video needs to be watched for YouTube to count it as a view.

The example list is just a small list to get you started. You can create lists yourself, edit the example list and add sites or delete sites or download many different lists that others have put together if you Google "ScrapeBox rapid indexer list". There's huge lists with 50-100k urls, or some people prefer to run smaller quality lists.

Google and virtually all other search engines only return up to 1,000 results per query. You can try manually clicking through the results that say (about 1,650,000,000 results) in your browser and you will see the results stop at or before 1,000. So the only solution is to use more keywords, like car, boat, tech and so forth to get magazine sites on those topics.

thanks for replying back. I want to start creating my own list. what is the correct process of finding if the items in my list are actually correct or not?

running the list through "alive check" add-on or "anchor text checker" (meaning to see if my URL is shown as a link on each source site?

or there is a better way to create your own list?

regarding building my own indexer list, can you please confirm this assumption: in order for any source to work for this purpose, there has to be a visible link from that site to the site that you want to get indexed. correct? if so, then each source needs to be checked by "anchor text checker" in order for it to get validated that such a link is there or not. correct?

you also mentioned, some build smaller quality list. how can you decide which source is a better quality than the other?

Some errors I came across in sb (few are there for quite a long time):

1. I noticed some error in page scanner addon - when I add an entry with regex like:
regex:(?<=right;">).*[0-9]\*(?=</td)

All entries that are below are omitted by page scanner - is there some separator needed to avoid this?

2. When an automator job is added to favorites it does not preserve changes done in file - so every time I made some change in sbaf file I have to remove it and add again to favorites.

3. Running alexa check addon via automator is giving error, same list done manually goes without any bugs.

Just purchased. 12 hours to activate is nuts. Please activate.

Yes for an indexer site to be viable, the page that's generated should have a link to your site. So no you wouldnt use the anchor text checker, because a lot of the links created are just naked hyperlinks with no anchor text. You would use the "Check Links" option on the commenter.

So you would take an indexer list which is this format:

http://whois.domaintools.com/{website}

In Notepad find and replace the {website} token with a real URL, then after you run the list in the check links feature and export the found links you do another find and replace and replace the real URL back to a token.

1. I think this issue is related to your regex and the site you are using it on.

2. Automator jobs added to the favorites are copied to the "Favorite Automator Jobs" folder so if you are editing the original file then no the changes are not made to the jobfile in the favories folder.

3. I was able to replicate that, there will be a fix shortly. Edit: Alexa Checker updated.

ok, here is one link that passed the "check links" option: URL works,

http://abuse.rc-boite.com/?url=http://www.alphaindexmarch19.com

but I do not see any outbound link to http://www.alphaindexmarch19.com

so is this a valid indexer source or an invalid one?

is there an option in scrapebox to check to see if a page has an outbound link to your site, when the link is presented as simple URL?

Yarrr- I know this isn't a review thread, but I'd like to big up SB! I went from a total noob to 10k/ month in less than 2 months after learning and implementing just ONE of the hundreds of functions this program performs. So much to learn... Thanks guys!

Thanks for alexa update.

Page scanner seems to be messy when using regex - on some sites I can see 403 error (no matter if http or https) - those urls are displayed in web browser without issues on same ip etc. Maybe pages block scrapebox by some user agent that it reveals?

The regex issue in page scanner mixed with non regex entries is slightly different - because when I made separate file with only one regex entry it goes ok - adding it on top with more entries makes whole url list checked with errors. Therefore I have to make separate file for regex and check big list separately, which is a bit waste of resources and time.

Can you provide 1 url which cause a 403, but works ok in browser?

Yes - I can sent it via pw message. What I also tried it might be some website blocking scrapebox issue as old scrapebox 1.16 gives me 501 error for same domain links in page scanner.

Nope, working great.

I just purchased a premium plugin, do I need to do anything to activate it? It still says purchase when I open the available plugins box.
