Man, I am jealous, can't wait to go to Iceland myself!

That looks awesome! I was all for it until I saw it was about $400 a person for 40 minutes inside the volcano. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Blue Lagoon is probably the best place to visit in Iceland, as well as the nature itself. The waterfalls are amazing

We have a whole day set aside for Landmannalaugar. We are hiking at both Bláhnjúkur and Ljótipollur Lake. And Blue Lagoon is a most definitely. Saved for our last day, though.

Alright, I've got the itinerary finalized with the assistance of some tips in this thread. Trip starts in two weeks!

I was disappointed to find out that the day we set aside for Landmannalaugar was a bust. The road into that area is typically impassable due to snow until June.

Luckily I checked the road conditions and such last week and not when we were already there. Vik seems nice, but a full day of not knowing what to do there would have been a real bummer.

You need to check out some geysirs in Strokkur, take waterproofs and a waterproof phone case to get a quality video of a huge cloud of rain dropping on you. Also this may seem odd but KFC is amazing in Iceland - they look after their chickens, it must be the most natural KFC in the world. Loads of quirky diners around too.
