More sellers on BHW should accept BTC as a payment option :(

Please, sincerely me and I'm sure lots of other people!

BTC is a bubble.

Today you have 100$ worth of dollars, tomorrow you may end up having $50

Yes that's a POSSIBILITY, but more than likely will NOT happen instantly like that.

Even though btc has come a long way its still far from being considered a "real" currency, some people just don't want to go through trouble of cashing it out.

I don't get how it's such a hassle for cashing it out, it literally takes a few hours to get verified and link your bank up. :(

It will happen exactly like that.

It happened to the British pound 2 times the last year,a currency with tirllon+ liquidity, yet it crashed 1000 points in 2min.

BTC is a "thin market" with not enough liquidity and is not stable.

Considering that major BTC owners is the average joe, they get scared to shit when price drops and panic controlls them. They begin to sell as well and you see huge market crash. It happens all the time and even in big markets like US Indexes, gold etc.Check charts.

I agree with both sides.

In the end it's a personal decision. I actually plan to accept btc on my next bst, just to see if it increases the amount of sales I get. But I do understand why some people don't want to accept it.

If you don't gamble - you cannot win. It's each persons own opinion about BTC. I choose to stay along with btc.

I saw on a forum someone offering a service and would only take Bitcoin, needless to say the first 8 or 9 posts were people saying they'd not buy as they don't use/trust BTC.

Both the Euro and the USD are going to be in big troubles, that's why the BTC is going to rise in value. If I had a couple of thousand bucks, I'd invest in the BTC.

I understand each seller who does not accept it. Imagine you sell something for 100$ and someone buys it while Bitcoin is on a high. It's out of your timezone and 10 hours later you wake up to see that you have new bitcoins that then are only worth 70$. RIP profit margin.

and you cant trust the market where you keep your bitcoin unless cold storage and when trying to turn into cash is a hassle sometimes

The trouble with BTC is that a lot of the big exchange has been hacked or gone bust. If it happened to some banks, people will be on the street.
But banks are usually bailed by the states as we've seen post 2008. Who's going to bail BTC exchanges?
