Hi,

I have a few 100 list of urls and want to comment on them, these blogs use disqus commenting plugin so I want to ask if its possible to comment via scrapebox? or no?

If anyone has successfully tried this then pls let me know!!

Thanks a lot :)

Scrapebox supports disqus by default, so it should work fine, as long as there is not some other form of security added on top of default disqus comments. Also assuming disqus has not blocked your ips etc...

Oh I see.

I thought disqus improved their code and its difficult to get comments posted, maybe my proxies are bad.
Almost every blog/site uses disqus for comments these days..

Will try with large list and update the thread.

Thanks btw :)

Your welcome. I would challenge your assumption that "almost every site" uses disqus, I would contend that disqus is a small percentage of what is used. None the less I post tens of thousands of successful comments a day. That said, I don't track which are disqus and which are not, but it worked with disqus last time I looked.

thats not to say that all disqus setups will work. Ive seen some when I genuinely wanted to comment on a blog and the disqus setup would let it happen as anonymous, where others would require me to login. If it requires a login, its not going to work.

I see, mostly the sites/blogs I have seen use disqus, this is what motivated me to look for a solution especially focusing on disqus...

Yes thats what I thought, if it requires login it won't work and was wondering if we could save accounts in scrapebox so it can login and post comments(I guess thats too much to ask haha)

edit:
A quick google search..

"75% of the websites using 3rd party commenting system are powered by Disqus."

Are you still using scrapebox for blog comments? If so can you please create a new video to scrape and filter high quality websites and comment on them? I would also love to see a demo of disqus comments.

Scrapebox doesn't support authentication on purpose, it opens a whole new can of worms.

Yes, as you quoted 75% of websites using 3rd party commenting are powered by disqus. But its often what is not stated that is more important. In this case, it doesn't address how many websites are using 3rd party commenting solutions vs inbuilt. It may only be 1% of all websites/blogs use a 3rd party solution. So 75% of 1% is still only three quarters of 1 percent of all blogs. I don't know the number but, just saying.

How would an new video with the same content of a old video be any better? Scrapebox is fundamentally the same, commenting is the same and filtering is subjective at best anyway, so there isn't anything new here. Disqus is what it is too, I mean it either works or it doesn't or you can try to build it in if you find a variation that does not require a login that doesn't work.
