I Go For SMO, But its a mix bro --- if you have a low content Website and do a lot of SMO for that you dont attract anyone there ----- and if you have an awesome website and didnt publisize your website then again its a waste of all your efforts

Every Website have its own problem and have their own trick to overcome Onpage SEO Issues.

main Issues other than you mentioned are
  1. Mobile Friendliness
  2. Canonical Issues
  3. Page Speed Issue
  4. Optimizing Above the Fold Content
  5. Optimizing for your Keyword
And Much More. These are just basics.

Other than these 3 factors, the following are important,
  • Quality-rich and unique content
  • Longer content is more preferred than the shorter ones.
  • Sprinkle LSI keywords in your body content
  • Regular and recent updated content - Fresh content is appreciated by search engines
  • Optimizing the images
  • The number and quality of internal links of the page
  • Optimize your site for a better speed
  • Make your site mobile-friendly and the use of HTTPS (it’s now a ranking signal)

Thank you for your reply. The optimization process is in progress now.Regarding optimizing for keyword and above the fold content what is the process? To enhance search appearance what more need to be implemented? Is it possible to cross the google's description limit of 150 characters ? How? can we add innerlinks inthe description ?

1. I`d recommend you to run a moderate competitors research. For each page select several keywords to target and to optimize for, and then check the top ranking pages for these keywords. Revise their titles and meta descriptions, and the keyword usage in the actual content, to see what`s the winning strategy with these particular keywords and niche. Use keywords in a semantically proper way in your titles, descriptions, headings and content, support them contextually so that it would still look natural in the first place, don`t just overstuff the pages with keywords.

To make the pages look more appealing in the search results (to encourage clicks once you`ll be ranking) you can add structured data markup so that Google could create a nice rich snippet for your result.

2. It`s possible to add a longer meta-description as the limit of 150 characters (actually, it`s 923 pixels) is just a Google`s guideline; but I wouldn`t neglect that, as longer descriptions get truncated (not pretty in the search results at all).

3. Defenitely NO, no links in the description! Meta description should be reflecting the page`s actual content - tease and sum up what`s covered on the page. That`s the first thing a user sees under your URL in the search results, and evaluates if your page can be of any help with the problem he`s searching for, so that`s defenitely not the place to interlink your pages.
