How I created a completely automated Movie Streaming platform

Here is an article about content being hosted through private links and served straight through google themselves for free - might be worth incorporating into this concept?
https://torrentfreak.com/porn-pirate-sites-use-backdoor-to-host-videos-on-youtube-170114/

Also just a stat from another torrent freak article that 32% of people polled in the USA admit to using pirated content! That is well over 100 MILLION people that have no problem even admitting that they use pirated media and you know that some people are not going to admit to it so the number of people OK with using pirated content is most likely closer to half the population of the US and that doesn't even count the rest of the world.

So to say that this market hasn't been saturated is a HUGE understatement and will only keep growing.

Interesting method, I was most interested in the programming section - everything else was a bit of a repeat or known to me at least. I would be interested in hearing more about the scraping part and how you handle that on limited resources (assuming you're not on a dedicated server)?

I do think you underestimate the DMCA and copyright infringement. You're best off having a domain that's not within North America, Europe or Australia. Asia or African domains would have been better.

If your site gets popular, you're going to hear from lawyers and then you have two options 1) ignore them or get them to file a DMCA or 2) respect the DMCA.

On #2, since you're scraping and autoposting, you better figure out a way to respect the DMCA to ensure it doesn't get posted after you remove it.

If you choose to ignore the DMCA, they will be in full force - you better have locked down your system and wipe any details of your contact info. You might think I'm paranoid, but remember that the RIAA managed to use ICE (the US's ministry of immigration)'s resources to go after copyright infringement in the Netherlands.

Good luck, but be careful.

good luck, i just checked on google for "watch movie online" in my country, 1.500.000 monthly searches and there are sites with PA/DA 1/1 with no backlinks on first page

Buddy, you can forget about that . Tried this keyword already for our country , bought pbn links , had a expired domain with strong metrics and nothing . Btw , our federal police been targeting such sites a lot

You forgot some things but the most important is the following. If I remember right the US goverment(?) announced in 2015 that their new strategy for taking down piracy sites will be to follow the money. It's not really about the hosting or uploader.

As I already said in another thread, this thing is nothing for noobs who have no idea about privacy and/or laws. I mean, I even saw sites without whois pretection. Seriously, this is how to stay anonymous 101.

BTC is your friend.

any updates ?

Yup, I'm creating the CMS system currently to be user-friendly for myself so I don't have to make requests to my server purely off of GET/POST methods.

This is a great point that you made and I was actually thinking about this a day before making this post. I would have to make sure when I delete a movie from the database, that it automatically goes to a list of "ignored" movies, so that the scraper ignores/skips over that movie next time its processing.

I like your post. All the best for your future projects and keep sharing method like this. Thank you
I am interested :)

I am interested in possibly purchasing a site from you. Please pm me. Great post!

great thread, thanks so much and how can I go about getting this setup?

Hi,

So I've been getting many requests for scripts, and I was thinking of developing a whole CMS with a User interface for noobies to initialize the database and everything themselves easily. The thing is, there is A LOT of code, and I don't have a lot of time to create an elegant user interface. Everything is GET/POST request based on the site to operate database.

If there are people who genuinely want an automated movie streaming platform, and if I decide to release it to the market, I'd have to include setup fees as it would take me some time to set it up for each person. Then I would give basic instructions for what you need to do to update the database by sending a GET/POST request once a month because some people have a problem with using cron jobs on their server, or is against their hosting's TOS.

The "interface" currently is just me sending a GET/POST request to the server and getting output like this colorcoded for developer purposes:

I love the idea of the coding it my life php well it was , well done keeping php alive .

It a shame you never done it all in oop ,that way you could of easly expanded the project easly or even get others do addons for you , like facebook does.

But the thinking out the box with movies was liked old hat brang to new hat love it.

Are you scrapping with curl(); or just Get(); and Post(); ?

Someone mention not to do this with vps will be to expensive , the amount of money this could fetch will blow your mind .

if the website catch on ,in the top 10, you can be looking at anythink from 20k to 100k a day in revenue easly .....

Some of these movie websites get over a Million+ hits a day (( fry them chips lol ))

Draw back , the money and afflicates will be enbeded to no who you are , have to be ghost all round , lots and lots of btc wallets everywere .....

Yeah, I will be using BTC for payouts, but not for payments - that would be stealth account (VPS/Domain). I will be acting in DMCA legal area, so it won't be that bad to deal with.

Can someone please clarify how they'd handle getting paid - you can't get paid in BTC. Ad Networks / Video Platforms pay via standard methods.

You can either get paid using your legit paypal account or your stealth paypal account. Also, networks like OpenLoad use BTC. There isn't a problem getting paid with your legit paypal account if your website is DMCA compliant - you're still in legal grounds. If you want to be completely against DMCA, then a stealth pp account is the way to go.

Thanks for the reply. Are there any risks with stealth paypal accounts? Would you not simply consider setting up a local bank account in Iceland for peace of mind?

Well, if you're not careful with your stealth account, risks are always present if you expose your IP for example. The thing for me is I don't want to make an authority site like 123movies or watchfree which are HUGE and making literally hundreds of thousands daily off of popunders alone.

I'd always sell my site before it reaches that point - and being DMCA compliant also means you won't be as big of an authority site, but at least you're playing the safer ground and have less to worry about. One of the biggest movie streaming sites currently like WatchFree have no DMCA page and completely ignore them.

Hey, interesting thread, I got a couple questions however I'd like to speak in private with you, as I'm not able to send you a Pm I'd appreciate if you could send me one.

yes OP i think you can add an option, not only in openload :)

hi NotTheDude if you know the method to upload and embed like in torrentfreak's article, could you please PM me. i would love how to do that, because it's fast with the buffering hehe

Well done, very smart.
There's a free automation software that you can use.
http://bablosoft.com/shop/BrowserAutomationStudio
I've tested it, and it seems to work. It's pretty much a Browser Automation Bot - you program it as if its a browser.

So the part that is manual, if its always the same, you can script it and run it as a cron job. This way, you are fully automated :D

Have you ever thought about doing whitehat work?
What you've done, you can spin it into whitehat products, and get it working long time.

Let me know if you want more details, I would be very much interested.

Good luck to you!
