Hey, so for anybody who hasn't read my post on the actual creation and planning process for creating this movie streaming platform, the thread can be found here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/h...ly-automated-movie-streaming-platform.910579/ The above thread covers pretty much everything I have planned. This journey thread will be me executing what I wrote in that thread in real-time. Many people messaged me to start a journey thread on this platform, and I decided it would be a good idea to not only gain a nice following, but also to be able to learn from my mistakes. I say it's good to rehash everything you've done for the day for your site, as it will allow one to figure out where they may be going wrong, or what may have caused something to go right. It is also good because you guys can learn from me and I can learn from anybody willing to offer suggestions. This may be a complete fail or a complete success - but there's only one way to find out, and that is to take action. So, here's my to-do list for what I want to do, and I will be going through the list slowly through the next upcoming weeks. By the end of the list, I should hit my goal swiftly. To-Do list: Configuration and Start-up Phase: 1. Purchase VPS / Domain and load up all the custom website scripts and configure all apache/php settings. 2. Execute scripts, and give them time to scrape the internet for movies and automatically find links and upload. Continue until 15k+ movies have been uploaded. 3. Configure and optimize all monetization (adcash/adcenter/perinstallcash/social-locker). Getting Traffic Phase: 4. Execute Youtube Commenting script to go through all videos on youtube related to movies in the site database 5. Download mass youtube videos through a script by movie name, covering clips and trailers, and then reupload to 5 different youtube accounts, 5 videos a day with link in description to watch movie (this may end up terribly but doesn't hurt to try) 6. Create 5 twitter accounts and set each account to automatically tweet a different movie link from the site at random, and automatically follow a certain # of people related in the movie niche 7. Create Facebook account and new group and set account to automatically post a message regarding new movies being added to site at random 8. Have same Facebook account automatically comment on other movie niche groups and paste links 9. Manually comment on Movie Niche forums / IMDB forums / Submit to Indexing/Blogger sites 10. Get a trusted backlinking service for long tail keywords for certain movies manually End Phase: 11. Now, if we reach this phase, that means the website is now making at least $1k/month. Once this happens, I will simply purchase more long term keyword domains with decent exact searches in movie niche and copy/paste the database to other sites and simply start to scale up 12. Now let's say this little movie streaming empire ends up making a decent recurring income - at this point, I want to move on to other things in Internet Marketing and don't want to be completely held up in movie niche. At this stage, I would simply sell all my sites to people who want the pre-configured sites/domains, and set up a service for people who want an automated solution and charge setup fees and then move on to other things. The whole purpose of this project is to learn as I go to try to market through automation, and learn cool tricks on my way there for seo, marketing, and programming. And simply gaining knowledge in what works and what doesn't when trying to gain traffic. If it doesn't work out, at the very least, I'll have learned a lot of things. Final comments regarding DMCA: Many people are concerned about it and cower in fear at the idea of getting a takedown request. I have a few people I know who deal with sites that would be the type to get DMCA takedowns. Honestly, it's not a big deal - as long as the site has a stance where it says that it would comply with DMCA if it truly came down to it, by offering a contact form and giving a clever disclaimer. If you decide to go completely off the grid with bitcoins / bitcoin mixers, VPN everything and offshore hosting - then you don't even have to worry about the complaints. I can choose to not worry because my offshore hosting service could care less about DMCA, but I will comply with all DMCA requests simply to relieve pressure. As for bitcoins - nah. A stealth paypal account will be my friend, and even if there is a money trail, it's fine as long as your site is acting within DMCA grey area. This is speaking from experience from other similar projects. If you want to be EXTRA safe though, bitcoins AND bitcoin mixers is the way to go. Many people get confused over bitcoins being anonymous - that's not true at all and I don't want to get technical about why it's not anonymous, but let's just say that every time you are transferring BTC, to always mix it afterwards using credible bitcoin mixer services.
