I would like to speed up my Wordpress blog, any suggestion related to hosting please?
The blog receives between 1000 and 1500 visitors daily and in general its very simple its pure informative and most of pages contains text and couple of images
Currently the blog is hosted on a shared account.

How big is the site and how much traffic are you getting? Generally shared hosting is fine for a standard WP site.

There are endless hosting providers out there and everyone is going to recommend whatever he/she is using - there's no single BEST one.

I've used HostGator for many years, so would recommend them. Also heard good things about LiquidWeb, although haven't used them myself.

I use hostgator shared hosting for one of my sites (7k UV /day) and so far so good.

1500 visitors daily? I recommend that you get VPS hosting from digital ocean. From my personal experience, I would stay away from hostgator.

Lmao VPS hosting with 1.5k visitors daily
Yea, I mean why not. Its only $5/month and the speed is incredible. Also, you won't have any experiences with bad neighborhoods.

My bad, i am used to expensive VPS (30-100 a month) :D
$5 is dirt cheap (looked up the site)

You have two options really. You can look around and find a shared host provider that does not over sell there servers.

Or get a KVM VPS so you have dedicated resources for your site.

You can move on to low budget vps and use nginx instead of apache

I recommend hostgator and bluehost.they are also other factors like if you have many flash graphics etc your site may load slow.Clear cache regularly

Blue Host is absolutely terrible. Sites are always down. Support is awful.

5$ month digitalocean would be great. Dont forget to select the datacenter depending on ur visitor's location.

Well depend on the features and resources.
On average unamaged VPS with 1GB of RAM start from $8/mo

@radichone what is your budget ? Who is your current provider. What is your location?
