That's a bit of an obscure question.
It's disputed, at least from what I've read, whether EMD (Exact Match Domains) have any benefit SEO-wise. Some people use them, others do not.
As to how can you rank for you name, that depends. If you're called Zhang Wei (Most common name according to
this) then it may be hard to rank for, just like if you have the same name as a famous person or place. However, if you have a rare(ish) name, with no content specifically targetted at it then it's an easy job.
My name's pretty obscure (Think I'm literally the only one alive -possibly) so literally all my shit comes up. Music accounts, literally everything.
If you are like me, then all you need to do is drop your name on your site's author page and maybe put it at the end of every article. Once Google indexes it then you should rank quite well, especially if you're giving other SEO to the page.
If your name is like I mentioned at the start, just do normal SEO to it (Include your name in the content of course). Maybe get some social profiles linking back, features on other sites (Written by '"
Joe Bloggs")
